I worked at Laika Studios in the Costume Department during preproduction and in the Puppet Hospital during production. Below are a few shots that I worked on either fabricating the costume or assisting on set before the shot began and during the shot or sequences duration.
I created the cat costume Coraline is wearing. It needed to be non-invasive and removable but also posable. This is achieved by using wire and hidden stitches to help maintain shape.
I assisted on many Prue on the General shots, mainly on Prue's costume to help keep her mobile but animatable in extreme poses.
